Certainly not the Dane and Bones stories. This was slow and predictable. The characters were unimaginative with maybe the exception of Stone. Other than rooting for the capture of the Immortal, I didn't find myself overly backing the characters. Finally at 86% of the book we got a brief cameo of personality from Dane and Bones. I have read all Dane and Bones including the novellas. Much more entertaining and riveting. This will be my last Myrmidon novel. Looking forward to more Dane and Bones though.Product details

Always ready for another adventure, a fast fun read
Excellent read, fast paced, different twists and turns with mystery mixed the story. I wouldn't hesitate to by from these authors again, if fact I have!
Another good one - I might have preferred a little more closure, but this is a series so know doubt we will learn more about the outcome in a future title. I'm just impatient!
Really interesting and unsettling premise. Loved the cameos!
There were lots of twists and turns in this book with surprises. Throughout the book the expected result wasn't what happened, from who and where the 'bad guy' was, to what was going on with a talking head! Included is some what ifs with history also. Some of our favorites including DaVinci and lesser known Mendici! I read this book on vacation and it made being a passenger on the long drive much easier!
This story was not quite up to oR with David Wolf's usual stories. Did Not like the way it ended at all. It left too many questions unanswered. It was exciting and I learned something from it as usual. Prefer the Dane and Bones stories. Thank you for sharing.
